The Spirit of God Decoding the Apocalypse New Church Building


Columbia River Foursquare Church has been serving Columbia County, Oregon, since 1935. We are a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, contemporary church for the entire family. Join us each Sunday as Pastor Mike Cooke shares a powerful and encouraging message from the series, "The Spirit of God," exploring how God has influenced the lives of people from the dawn of time through the work of His Spirit, and how He is still at work in our lives today.

Women’s Workout Class

Mondays,  6:00 p.m.

The Women’s Workout Class is open to ladies of all ages and abilities and meets on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. in the Riverside Room. Bring light hand weights, an exercise ball and a water bottle and enjoy a fun, free and simple aerobic workout with no men and no mirrors! This weekly class provides free childcare. Contact class instructor Katie Olson with any questions.


Tuesdays,   7:00 p.m.

GriefShare is a small group ministry for anyone grieving the death of a loved one, and can help provide support while working toward rebuilding your life after loss. GriefShare meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The cost is $15.00 for the workbook. Childcare is provided. Sign up in the Commons.

Women’s Celebrate Recovery

Tuesdays,  7:00 p.m.

The Women’s Celebrate Recovery group offers faith-based freedom from hurts, habits and hang-ups. This biblical program addresses several topics such as: chemical dependency, alcoholism, family dysfunction, addiction, abuse, compulsive behaviors and more. Women’s Celebrate Recovery meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.  Free childcare is provided.  Sign up in the Commons to attend this free class.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Tuesdays & Thursdays

All women are invited to attend Ladies’ Bible Study, meeting Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  Come for a refreshing time of worship, getting in to The Word, and connecting with your sisters. Free childcare is provided. Detailed flyers of studies offered this quarter are available today.

Wednesday Family Night

Wednesday,  7:00 p.m.

The Wednesday Family Night has just started again for the fall each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. This mid-week service offers something for all ages, singles and families, with adult worship and new teaching series “Decoding the Apocalypse”, Columbia Kids Christmas Musical practice for kids K-6th grade, and nursery care.

 “See You at The Pole” Youth Worship Rally

Wednesday,  September 28, 6:00-8:30 p.m.

“See You at The Pole” is a global day of prayer, calling all students to meet together and pray for their schools at 7:30 a.m. at their flagpole. All 7-12th grade students are encouraged to attend their school’s prayer time on Wednesday,  September 28th.  That night, all local youth groups are invited to the S.Y.A.T.P. Worship Rally at 6:00 p.m. at Sunset Park Community Church in St. Helens, located at 174 Sunset Blvd. Come for a night of worship, prayer, testimonies and free pizza.  

The Rock Small Groups

Wednesday,  October 5, 7:00 p.m.

The Rock 7-12th grade ministry invites all students to The Rock Small Groups. These small group bible studies will meet once a month, the first Wednesday of each month during the Wednesday Family Night Service at 7:00 p.m. Small groups start on Wednesday, October 5th.

Donna McAtee Retirement Party!

Friday, October 14,  7:00 p.m.

To honor over 30 years of faithful service in the church office as our Treasurer/Secretary, you are invited to come celebrate with Donna McAtee at her upcoming retirement party! The party will be held at the church on Friday, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. with an evening of desserts and refreshments, and trips down memory lane as we honor Donna for her dedicated work and ministry as a staff member of Columbia River Foursquare Church.

Annual Harvest Party

Monday,  October 31,  6:00-8:30 p.m.

The annual Harvest Party is coming soon! The party will be held at the church on Monday, October 31st from 6:00-8:30 p.m. and is free to the community. Featured again is a canned food drive for the Food Bank, so bring a canned item when you come! You can participate in this community outreach event by filling out the Harvest Party Crew insert in the bulletin and dropping it in the offering bag. Candy donations are now being accepted during all service times in the orange tub by the Information Desk. All candy donations must be individually wrapped.
