Overcoming Stress, Anxiety and Depression
Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m.
Overcoming Stress, Anxiety and Depression is a class offered to both men and women meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. Gain the tools to eliminate chronic worry, panic and fear and finally get the help that you are looking for. This program, founded in 1993, is recognized as the most effective drug-free program for stress and anxiety. Childcare is provided for a suggested donation of $5.00 per child.
Project Princess: Prom

Coming this May, the 2nd annual Project Princess: Prom outreach event will take place. From now until May 1st, The Rock 7-12th grade NextGen youth ministry will be collecting donations of new or gently used prom dresses at the church during all service times and during office hours. The dresses will then be given away on Friday, May 1st at 4:00 p.m.; the day local girls are invited to pick out a prom dress at the church for free! Donation slips for tax deductibility are available. For details, or to volunteer on the dress giveaway day, contact Youth Director Miriam Rotter.
May Day Baskets

This May, you and your family are invited to be a blessing to someone in the community who could really use a touch of God's love. Several baskets will be given away by our church stuffed with complete roast dinners, with all the trimmin's, to as many families as we can find. These are not just for the needy, but anyone you know who would be blessed by the gift. As you know, this is a time of great blessing! You can help filling out a "May Day Baskets" form at church with any names or assistance you can give. Names of families to bless may be submitted through April 29th. Food items may be donated through May 3rd. Food items being collected are: beef roast, fresh potatoes, gravey mix, rolls, canned corn or green beans, canned fruit rolls, cake mix, frosting, and apple juice. Contact even coordinator Julie Wheeler with any questions.
Dinner at My House

This May, you are invited to participate in the special small group event “Dinner at My House”. Sign up to host or attend small group dinners each Sunday evening in May (except Mother’s Day). Experience the joy of hospitality and get to know other couples and singles from Columbia River Foursquare Church. Fill out the card in the Sunday morning bulletin and drop it in the offering bag.

If you are new to Columbia River Foursquare Church, or you have attended for a few months, you are welcome to come to the Newcomer’s Dinner on Sunday, May 17th. Bring the whole family to this dinner held in your honor at the home of Pastors Mike and Molly Cooke from 6:00-7:30 p.m. R.S.V.P. at the Information Table in the Commons during service times (or via email)) and pick up directions to the Cooke’s.
Honor the Grads Slideshow

If you are a graduating high school senior, you are invited to be a part of the Honor the Grads Slideshow on Sunday, June 7th during the Sunday Morning Worship Services. Turn in a baby picture, grade school picture, and your senior picture along with the job field you wish to pursue by sending it in digital format to Youth Director Miriam Rotter.. Congratulations graduates!
The Rock Parent Email Registration
If you are the parent of a 7-12th grade student, register your email address today for The Rock Youth Ministry parent contact list. Receive up-to-date information on the latest events and ministry opportunities for your child offered at The Rock. Also, if you have a child entering the 7th grade in the fall of 2015, register your email address now as 7th grade students are welcomed in to The Rock this June. You can register your address also by sending an email to Youth Director Miriam Rotter with your child's name and grade.
Save the Date: NextGen Summer Camps
This summer, the Foursquare District NextGen Summer Camps will be held at Canby Grove Christian Center in Canby. NextGen Camps invite all kids and youth entering 3-12th grade to come spend the best week of their summer at camp! The dates for this year’s camps are: High School Camp, July 9-13th, Middle School Camp July 13-17th, and Kid’s Camp July 20-23rd. Watch the bulletin for upcoming camp fundraiser opportunities.
