Dinner at My House


This October, you are invited to participate in the small group event “Dinner at My House”. Sign up to host or attend small group dinners each Sunday evening in October. Fill out the “Dinner at My House” card in today’s bulletin and drop it in the offering bag.

Women of Worship

Saturday, October 22,  7:00 p.m.

The bi-annual community wide women’s worship event “Women of Worship” or “W.O.W.” will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Columbia River Foursquare Church. Come for an evening of worship with your sisters from all over Columbia County, and empowering biblical teaching.

The Rock “Rocktoberfest” Party

Sunday, October 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Rock 7-12th grade ministry welcomes all students to the upcoming “Rocktoberfest” party on Sunday, October 30th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the church. Come for a Bavarian themed night with pretzels, pumpkins, games, and decorating treats for the Harvest Party cake walk! For details on this event, contact Youth Director Miriam Rotter.

Annual Harvest Party

Monday,  October 31,  6:00-8:30 p.m.

The annual Harvest Party is coming soon! The party will be held at the church on Monday, October 31st from 6:00-8:30 p.m. and is free to the community. Featured again is a canned food drive for the Food Bank, so bring a canned item when you come! You can participate in this community outreach event by filling out the Harvest Party Crew insert in the bulletin and dropping it in the offering bag. Candy donations are now being accepted during all service times in the orange tub by the Information Desk. All candy donations must be individually wrapped.

The Rock Small Groups

Wednesday,  November 2, 7:00 p.m.

The Rock 7-12th grade ministry invites all students to The Rock Small Groups. These once-a-month small groups meet again on Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:00 p.m. after worship during the Wednesday Family Night Service. Contact Youth Director Miriam Rotter for details.

Veteran’s Slideshow

Sunday, November 6

On Sunday, November 6th, we will honor all individuals that have served our country in the armed forces with the Veteran’s Slideshow. If you are a veteran, you are welcome to fill out a “Veteran Information Card” at the Information Desk in the Commons and return it with a picture (in digital format) by Wednesday, November 2nd. The Rock Winterhawks Game Night

Saturday,  November 12,  5:30 p.m.

The Rock invites 7-12th grade hockey fans to the upcoming Winterhawks Game Night on Saturday, November 12th. Meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. to carpool in to Portland to see the game. The cost is $20 for transportation and tickets, plus a little extra cash for dinner. A limited number of tickets are available, so please sign up now if you plan to attend. Payment is due at time of sign up. Stop by the Information Desk in the Commons today to sign up and pick up a permission slip. Contact Youth Director Miriam Rotter with any questions.

Love Baskets

The annual community outreach “Love Baskets” event is coming up on Sunday, November 20th. Love Baskets are full turkey dinners that are donated, assembled and delivered by the church each Thanksgiving season. See the special insert in Sunday's bulletin to find out how you can bless a family in need in our community. 

Reindeer Run

Start training now for the annual Reindeer Run, coming up on Saturday, December 3rd. The Reindeer Run features a 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon walk/run with all proceeds benefiting the local Toy-n-Joy, Columbia Food Bank, and St. Helens Police Academy. Register online today at
