Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry is one of the strongest pillars around which our church is built. Throughout the year, we provide many opportunities to go on outings together and even learn new life skills, one generation passing on to the next. Whether you are married or single, young or gracefully aged, new to the church or a life-long believer, you will be at home here with your sisters in Christ. (Psalms 126:2)

Ladies' Bible Study

Ladies' Bible Study takes place every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. This is an opportunity for us to worship, study the Bible, ask questions, and grow in our understanding and knowledge of Jesus. This is also a great way to get to know some other women like you in a small group setting. From September through May we study three different series. Childcare is provided.

Spring Retreat

One of the favorite activities in Women’s Ministry is the annual Spring Retreat. Each year there is a weekend set aside to spend making new friendships, seeking the Lord and creating memories that will last forever.

Secret Sisters

This is a fun and exciting ministry available for participation by all women. At the start of the new year we have a Tea Time party where everyone is welcome to draw a card with information on someone you will bless and pray for during the year. During the party, you will also have the opportunity to reveal yourself to the Secret Sister you had the previous year. It is always fun to come to church and find a mystery gift or card from your Secret Sister.

Sister to Sister Newsletter

The Sister to Sister newsletter is a monthly publication that is written by several different columnists in the church. It is full of encouragements, poems, interesting facts, interviews and much more. Some of the feature columns are the Mystery Woman, Date Night Ideas and Woman of the Month.

Christmas Banquet

This event is a special celebration in the life of the church. Each table is custom decorated by ladies in the church, and the music and fellowship make it a time to remember. Also, the cookie and ornament exchange make the night even more exciting, where you can share your special treats with friends old and new.

Ministry Opportunities

There are several ministry opportunities to get involved with in Women’s Ministry. It is such a joy to join together with other women and build strong relationships through serving as a team. The following are some of the present ministry teams:

• Activities Team brainstorms and assists with the production of events, outings and retreats.
• Meals Ministry Team provides meals for families when the main caretaker has been hospitalized or become disabled for a season.
• Receptions Team organizes all the details for wedding, funeral and Newcomer's receptions, from decorations and food to clean-up.
