Covid-19 Response Options
There are many non-profit organizations and services in Columbia County that are helping to reach our most vulnerable neighbors at this time. Listed below are a few of the services that we are aware of that may need volunteer help, if you are in a place to provide it. Please use the links or phone numbers provided to contact them directly about ways that you can help, or if you are in need of any of the resources that they provide.
Although we share a common mission with these organizations, they are not sponsored by nor subsidiary of Columbia River Foursquare.
Columbia Pacific Food Bank
(503) 397-9708
As your regional food bank, we have historically distributed 12 tons of food weekly to Columbia County. Due to this pandemic, we are setting record-breaking numbers. Last week we delivered 13.5 tons of food. We have new clients that are walking through our doors every day. Our phones are ringing off the hook from folks that have never used a local food pantry and the gratitude in their voices is heard loud and clear. This is a call to action. WE NEED YOUR HELP. During April we are finding the humor in the TP craze and raising funds to WIPEOUT HUNGER in Columbia County. These funds will go directly to purchasing food to serve our community.

Home-delivered meals continue to be prepared Monday-Wednesday-Friday, with frozen meals being delivered for the days we don't have drivers. We've had some amazing volunteers come in from the school and churches - thank you! Some restaurants have donated food to us, which is also greatly appreciated. Even if there is a shelter-in-place order, volunteers are considered essential workers to programs such as ours, so we'll continue to need your help. If you are not able to volunteer, we would really appreciate if you could donate to the meal program to keep it going. I am not technologically sophisticated enough to be able to put a donate button on this page, but if you could go to our Facebook page , there is a donate button there. You may also mail a check to our mailing address of PO Box 692, St. Helens.
